Welcome to the Ardrossan SA website, an initiative of the Ardrossan Progress Association. Whether you are a resident, a visitor or someone considering living in this great community, we hope that we can provide you with information and encourage you to take part in a wide range of activities.
Ardrossan is a thriving town on the east coast of the Yorke Peninsula, about 150 km from Adelaide, South Australia. Population is approximately 1,300, with a wide range of age groups, employment, community and sporting clubs. It is little wonder that the town is a holiday destination for many and special place in which to live for others. Situated on top of imposing red cliffs an easy 90 minute drive from Adelaide, Ardrossan is a thriving seaport and centre for agriculture. Spectacular scenery from a cliff top lookout, an abundance of blue swimmer crabs, great fishing, shipwrecks and an interesting history make this a great spot to while away relaxing days.
Ardrossan Progress Association proudly sponsored the Ardrossan Art Display again in 2024. Our inaugural event was held in 2023 with great success. Congratulations to our 2024 Winners. A full list on our Community Page.
We're excited to announce we will be back in 2025 - Friday, 18th and Saturday, 19th April.
Please email art@ardrossan.sa.au to be added to our mailing list and follow www.facebook.com/Ardrossan.Art.Display to stay updated.
